HEROES airing in the Philippines

This show is so good that networks are practically clamoring for it. It has been reported that Studio 23 bid for the show; but Heroes was finally awarded to another network. We were told it's RPN 9 but I haven't confirmed yet.

On cable, Star World will be airing Heroes starting January 31 at 9pm. That's a little more than a week after it returns on NBC with episode 12 entitled "Godsend".

The new shows just keep on coming to Philippine shores; and I'm loving it.

Hello there. :) Can I add you in my flist? Anyway, I've seen the plug of HEROES coming soon on Star World, but unfortunately it won't be aired here in the Philippines (Star World). I also checked wikipedia , and there was no "Philippines" :(

yeah, i saw something about "not available in the philippines" in the forum before. so i guess we have to wait for the rumors i've been hearing about rpn or solar picking up Heroes. thanks for passing along the info. :)

Aww... I would have preferred Heroes to air on Studio 23. But oh well, what's important is that it will finally be aired here later.

etc would be the perfect place for heroes, because solar (who owns etc, jack tv, crime/suspense...) knows how to take care of their shows. and they have a more defined schedule.

Hm, yeah, I preferred Studio 23 than RPN. Nothing personal, but RPN for me is just a bit gloomy. And sometimes even looked blurry.

ETC would be just fine. Though I guess I prefer Star World to be honest coz' their sched on their site is more updated, ya know? Even user-friendly, he he.

i'm pretty sure solar is just a blocktimer last time i checked. they denied owning rpn; and they simply buy time on the channel for programming.

... because it's the only one selling blocktime? :) most of the money they get are from the cable service provider... and their advertising is only about less than a fourth on free TV, they've gotta make the most out of their purchased shows...

someone told me that there is already a teaser commercial on RPN 9.. watch out for Heroes this March 2007...
This is one of the greatest TV series I've ever scene...

about Star World - Philippines... I have a guess... since Grey's Anatomy is taking the slot of Heroes, Wednesdays at 9pm, Fans may have to wait until Grey's Anatomy Season 2 is done...
but then, RPN 9 has Heroes this March...

I've been watching the series online, and I can say hands-down, it is one of my all-time faves (this from a disillusioned tv practitioner too! hehe). Save the cheerleader, save the world. Do you want revenge or the truth?--you can't have both. Do you want a life of meaning or a life of happiness? These lines will become timeless! Plus the show's philosophy is so Zen as well.

I wish we soon will have a market for such concepts. Maybe the Web will be our new TV, where there are more chances for programs and ideas to prosper. :-)
